Lough Arrow is one of Ireland's great limestone lakes being five miles in length. The Lake is spring fed with small feeder streams providing valuable spawning grounds. The islands on the lake provide many areas of shallows. Fishing on Lough Arrow is common between the months of March through to September. Other fishing lakes in the area are Lough Bo, Lough Na Suil and Lough Na Leibe.
